Challenge : Get people on a Bird electric scooter for the first time.
While public opinion on electric scooters is split, once you tried it there’s no denying the fun of riding a Bird. That’s why Bird will partner with Mario Kart to bring Mario Kart to life and encourage people to try riding a scooter for the first time.
My role: Art Direction, Graphic Design.
The Mario Bird Race
To encourage people to take their first ride, Bird will organize monthly Mario Kart themed gathering to cruise with your friends around San Francisco, New York, Paris, and Berlin.
Mario Route
Bird will design routes for Bird riders, with Mario as the guide. This augmented reality feature allows riders to collect points when they pass marked landmarks and when they ride safely. We’ll collaborate with safety experts to ensure the safety of this plugin.
Instagram filter
Almost everyone looks stylish when riding a bird. For those who don’t, we got you covered with our Bird Instagram filter. Snap a picture of you or your friend and let the filter spice up your appearance.
Limited edition gears
Who says safety can’t look stylish? We created stylish, limited-edition Mario inspired helmets so you can ride in safely in style.
Mario Kart race
For all you Mario fans, we created a Bird tournament based on the newest Mario Kart. Choose your bird and race across the iconic cities of Paris, NY and SF.
